After receiving his Diploma in Art from Khopoli Chitrakala Mahavdyalaya, Mumbai University, Vivek started working as a freelance fine artist. Over the years he has evolved as an artist painting in both oil and acrylic colors. His style is primarily figurative and realistic.
His subject matter, color and style are a very personal, intuitive part of who he is since he discovered art. He has experimented with landscapes and figuatives and often combines the two together in his works.
He loves watching people, especially children and often draws inspiration from them and the way they see the world. He is most interested in small everyday moments that are often missed or seemingly unimportant compared to the social and headline-grabbing events of the world.
He derives inspiration from nature as he watches a certain scene, the experience of its beauty takes him to nothingness from where he then tries to express his experience through his canvases.
